Cinnamon Snail Vegan Food Truck NYC

I can’t believe it’s vegan!

Vegan Donut - Cinnimon Snail Vegan Food Truck - Roasted Peach Cheesecake

I’ve been to the Cinnamon snail 4 times this week! My favorite items so far are the Roasted Peach Cheesecake Donut (pictured below, $3), the Strawberry Glazed Donut ($2), the Tiramisu Donut ($3, has a slight beany silken tofu flavor), and the Triple Chocolate Brownie.

The brownie is so rich I think it’s best crumbled into ice-cream (eg the Trader Joes chocolate coconut milk ice-cream) or crumbled as a topping for fruit etc rather than eaten alone. It’s delicious!)

I’ve also tried the Cinnamon Snails, a blackberry and cheese danish, and the Passionfruit donut.

The line is sometimes 20 minutes long. It’s funny hearing all the non-vegans in the line talk about how they’re getting a seitan sandwich (they also have savory food, which I haven’t tried yet). Dudes in suits lining up for their vegan food. Hooray, and kinda sexy.

They post their weekly location schedule on their Facebook page but sometimes have to move on the day due to parking issues, so check back to see if there are updates. If you’re checking Facebook on your phone, be aware that Facebook will sometimes show older posts above newer posts, so make sure they haven’t had to move locations before you trek to go visit them.

If you’re keen to see how we’re traveling in NYC for less than $50/day, even with regular visits to Cinnamon Snail, check out our first 30 Days NYC Budget, or our post on free things to do in NYC for each day of the week.

Wow, a totally vegan food truck. When i lived in NYC I was a vegan, they had some yummy restaurants but no food trucks.

Holy crap, I must fund this truck as soon as I get back to NYC. I’m not vegan but for whatever reason, vegan pastries always amaze me with deliciousness! Can’t wait to check this out.

Is it just me or are vegan treats so much better than normal treats?

Every time I have them my mouth just doesn’t want the eating to stop.
